Informed Decision-Making Overview

The Informed Decision Making Overview workshop highlights key concepts for informed decision-making and the foundation for working together. It includes skills practice and opportunities to consider application to practice.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Define person- and family-centered care
  • Define informed and shared decision making
  • State the approach and values involved in informed decision making
  • Describe the spirit of motivational interviewing

Who should attend?

Open to all health care providers, community support workers and healthcare students who support person-centered care.

How long is the workshop?
